OmniUpdate Announces Transcode-ItTM

New, Free Service Makes Video for Web Pages Easy

CAMARILLO, Calif. - March 7, 2008 - OmniUpdate Inc., the leading provider of Web Content Management Software (CMS) for higher education, announced the availability of a new service called Transcode-ItTM during its fourth annual User Conference, held March 2 - 4, 2008 at the Wyndham Hotel in Palm Springs, CA.

Transcode-ItTM is a free service allowing college web professionals to quickly convert any video, then upload and display it as a high quality Flash video on a web page. Users simply upload their file to transcodeit.com and follow the four easy steps. Transcode-It requires no software installation and creates a video file that plays on all modern browsers.

The Transcode-It product is available for general public use, and makes loading videos on a website as simple as inserting an image in a document.
