OmniUpdate Customers Win CCPRO Web Page Awards

College of San Mateo and Victor Valley College Take First and Third Place Awards

Camarillo, Calif. – May 6, 2009 – OmniUpdate, Inc., the leading provider of web content management software (CMS) for higher education, is pleased to announce that two of its higher education clients won awards for their successful websites during the Pro Awards held in April by the California statewide Community College Public Relations Organization (CCPRO). College of San Mateo won first place and Victor Valley College (VVC) won third place. Both schools are users of OU Campus, OmniUpdate’s widely popular web CMS.

When asked about receiving their Web Page Award, Valerie Tyler, Webmaster at College of San Mateo, stated, “It’s great to win this first place award.  The website is an important marketing and communication tool for us and receiving recognition for our efforts makes everyone involved with its development quite proud.”  When asked for his thoughts on Victor Valley’s win, Justin Gatewood, Webmaster at VVC, stated, “VVC is working very hard to move its website forward in terms of technical and communication capabilities and receiving recognition for it from CCPRO is very rewarding. Winning is a strong sign that we are moving in the right direction, and every user on this campus that plays a role in our website can be proud of their contribution.”
