OmniUpdate Releases Version 8.4 of Its Web Content Management Software

New Custom Reports Feature Enhances the OU Campus Product

Camarillo, Calif. - May 11, 2009 - OmniUpdate, Inc., the leading provider of web content management software (CMS) for higher education, released today the newest upgrade to its web CMS product, OU Campus. This upgrade includes a new Custom Reports feature.

The Custom Reports feature allows designated administrators to create specific reports to manage, monitor, report, and ultimately control or change settings within OU Campus. Five types of customized reports are available: users, directories, pages, sites, and groups. A variety of customization options are available for each report type. For example, a users report can include username, first name, last name, email, phone, creation date, last login date, last login IP, total page edits, last edit date, permission level, approver, group membership, and more. Date ranges can be specified for all reports that include date values.

Creating a custom report within OU Campus is fast. New reports are run in real time, can be created with as little as two clicks, and generate results in 2 seconds or less for sites with less than 1 million pages and 10,000 users. The resulting reports are displayed in a multi-page table with 25 records per page.

According to Lance Merker, President and CEO of OmniUpdate, "Although OU Campus has always provided standard reporting capabilities, our customer base is growing and so are their reporting needs. Customers now require a multitude of ways to track and report on website activities. We believe that the new Custom Reports feature is easily configurable and will be of great benefit to OU Campus site administrators."
