When the University Webmaster Dena Westerfield was hired at Louisiana Tech, every web page was built and maintained by hand. The school was in immediate need of a web content management solution. Westerfield spear-headed the web content management solution research and developed a list of candidates. Westerfield was looking for a user-friendly solution that enabled non-technical staff to update and maintain their own content - reducing the burden of the school's web masters.
