OU Campus Users are Taking Over Newport Beach! [INFOGRAPHIC]

OUTC15 promo videoCan you believe there’s only 16 days left until OUTC15?! That’s right. OmniUpdate’s 2015 User Training Conference is March 1-5. Not only do attendees have exciting presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities to look forward to, they also have the opportunity to take in all the sights of OC’s hot spot: Newport Beach.

To kick off the conference, we will be having our annual Sunday evening reception at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. You won’t want to miss this beach-themed event featuring the Tamarindo Food Truck and a steel drum band!

On Monday evening, we will all embark on our own nautical voyage: a dinner cruise around Newport Beach’s historic harbor. It’s a-boat time! You’ll get to enjoy a beautiful sunset while taking in the ocean breeze! A buffet dinner will be served as well as drinks. There will be music, games, photo-ops, and so much more!

But it’s not all about sunshine, sand, and surf. We also have a ton of fun-filled days of learning! From modules, gadgets, and mobile apps you’ll learn so many ways to unlock the potential of OU Campus on the first day of the conference alone. And, back by popular demand, attendees will be able to choose from 15 different topic tables on Tuesday afternoon. These small group sessions led by product experts, your peers, and our partners are a great way to learn about important topics, like Using OU Campus as a Primary Marketing and Outreach Tool and Identifying and Addressing Faculty Needs and Concerns . Plus, participants can better engage in conversation about best practices and effective solutions.

You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to see full presentations prepared by your peers. We have some new faces this year, including Nic Winn from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center presenting on Web Based Digital Signage System and Stephen C. Fornal from Tarrant County College presenting on Designing and Implementing for Web Accessibility: Pain-Free Compliance with ADA . And, once again we have our valued partners sharing their marketing and higher ed expertise with you.

Water you waiting for? Seas the day, register today. OK, I admit, these puns are getting out of control! But hurry, registration is closing February 20th. If you have not made a hotel reservation, we have sold out of our block at the Hyatt, but we have opened a block of rooms at an alternate hotel. Please contact Rachelle Avery at 800.362.2605 ext. 241 or ravery@omniupdate.com by Monday, February 16th to reserve a room.

We understand that not everyone can make it, but you can follow the #OUTC15 twitter feed! All presenters have been compiled in this Twitter list for your convenience. And best of all, everyone following our Twitter feed is eligible to win prizes in this year’s social media contest!
