#OUTC16 Spotlight: Events

With the 2016 OmniUpdate User Training Conference less than two weeks away, we are all buzzing with anticipation and excitement! There is so much to look forward to - the sessions, the workshops, and of course the after-hour events. Here's a sneak peek of the fun:

Welcome Reception * Sunday, February 21 * 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Let me start with a confession... I'm a little competitive. Ok... I'm really competitive. So I am beyond excited for our game-themed reception on Sunday evening! When you get into town, join us for some light snacks, tasty drinks, and lively festivities. To anyone who wants to battle me in Checkers, well:

Roaring '20s Hollywood Dinner Party * Monday, February 22 * 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Say there Mac, I think you're the bee's knees, the cat's pajamas, the kipper's knickers. Let's travel back in time together to the Golden Age of jazz, flappers, and gangsters - the Roaring '20s! We'll take a short stroll to the ritziest juice joint in Southern California, the Cicada Club. After we grab some bootleg liquor, some hooch, and some giggle water, we'll eat a swanky dinner and enjoy some nifty entertainment. No need to get dolled up unless you want to! I'll be donning my glad rags, and I can't wait to see all you dames and big sixes there!

Hackathon * Tuesday, February 23 * 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Calling all programmers! We will be hosting our first ever OUTC Hackathon on Tuesday night, and we need your coding talent. It's your chance to work with other OU Campus users on fun development projects. It will be a night of brainstorming and collaboration. If you haven't registered for the event, make sure to do so before February 15. Come with your thinking caps on and your fingers primed for a coding extravaganza!
