Using the Source Editor

source codeThe OU Campus Source Editor is another nifty feature you’ll find in your developer toolbox. Subtle yet powerful, the Source Editor provides auto-complete functionality when working with XSL, HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript files.

“As you begin typing code, the Source Editor automatically suggests matching tags to auto-complete for you,” said Nicole Conary, a User Experience Design Engineer for OmniUpdate. “Having all available tag options to select from makes writing code much faster. It’s just another way OU Campus helps you in small, effective ways.”

Additionally, the Source Editor lets you choose which users can edit source code with configurable themes and syntax highlighting. You can also manually trigger the auto-complete feature by pressing CTRL+SPACE in the Source Editor.
