Camarillo, Calif. - December 1, 2008 - OmniUpdate, Inc., a leading provider of web content management solutions for higher education, announced today that Andrew Soderberg has joined their organization as Vice President of Client Services. In his new role, Mr. Soderberg will be overseeing OmniUpdate's customer service and professional services departments, and will be located out of the organization's California headquarters.
Prior to joining OmniUpdate, Mr. Soderberg was Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Web Services for Interact Communications, Inc., an organization focused on servicing two-year colleges by meeting their needs for market research, communication services, and technical solutions.
From his roots as a director in broadcast television in the late 1970s to his role as a member of Apple's QuickTime development team in the 1990s, Mr. Soderberg has built his career on blending computer, Internet, and media technologies. He was the founder of Merlin Media, Inc., a successful Silicon Valley creative and technical consulting agency pioneering multimedia and Internet solutions. He also held leadership roles at ViMart Corp. and Aapps Corp. as well as Atari, Inc., where he managed the technical production of television commercials that won several Clio Awards. He has built more than 100 corporate and 25 higher education websites in the past 13 years.
