OmniUpdate Releases Version 9.11 of Its Web Content Management System

New LDP Forms, Polls, and Survey Features Now Available

Camarillo, CAAugust 22, 2011 – OmniUpdate, the leading web content management system (CMS) provider for higher education, has released version 9.11 of its OU Campus™ CMS. This release includes the server-side module of the Live Delivery Platform (LDP) that allows users to easily create and manage forms, polls, and surveys.

The new LDP module provides an intuitive user interface that makes it much easier to quickly build form elements such as text, radio buttons, checkboxes, drop-down menus, and lists for use on any web page. If form elements need to be reordered, users simply drag and drop them into their proper position. Users define which form elements are required, and easily select from pre-supplied or custom validation rules.

Collected data is stored in the included database, and can also be submitted to one or more email addresses, each with their own message. OU Campus users with the appropriate permissions can view submitted data from the database, and export it for use in external applications.

Lance Merker, President and CEO of OmniUpdate, stated, "Our customers require interactive web modules, and forms are particularly important to them. We designed LDP Forms to alleviate the need for developers to create custom forms processing code for their CMS users. Based on early customer feedback, we know this is going to be huge for our customers."
