More Than 100 New Features and Continued Focus on Customer Support Fuel Growth

Camarillo, CAJanuary 11, 2012 — OmniUpdate, the leading web content management system (CMS) provider for higher education, announced that 2011 was a record year for sales, revenue, and profits. The company added 45 new college and university clients, including international institutions such as John Cabot University in Italy and Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Canada, and completed a record number of implementations of its web CMS, OU Campus™, with the vast majority of clients adopting the company's cloud solution, also known as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology.

One of the most highly requested features added to OU Campus in 2011 was the Dependency Manager, which ensures hyperlinks to pages managed within OU Campus are always up to date. And the launch of the Live Delivery Platform with new forms, polls, surveys, comments, and image galleries functionalities significantly expanded and enhanced the product's capability. OmniUpdate also expanded OU Campus' single sign-on remote authentication capabilities with the addition of a Shibboleth® System option and added support for XSLT 3.0, XPath 3.0, and XQuery 3.0. Send to Facebook, OU Social™, Quick Search, Zip Import, and a number of other important feature enhancements were also added, resulting in more than 100 new features released during the year.
