Ready to Kick Your Alumni Engagement Up a Notch?

Alumni play a key role in advancement for higher education institutions, but connecting with them can often be difficult. If you're looking for a new way to increase alumni engagement, Higher Ed Live's recent episode may be just the ticket.

Stony Brook University connects with alumni in a unique way with its 40 Under Forty program. Through an elegant NYC event and a dedicated website (see below), this program annually recognizes 40 of the university's most exceptional alumni under the age of forty who are pursuing their passions, helping people, and leading positive change.

In this episode of Higher Ed Live, host Kim Brown of Syracuse University speaks with Stony Brook University's Web Content Coordinator Lynn Zawie, Advancement Communications Project Manager Jessie McHeffey, and Executive Director of Alumni Relations Matthew Colson. The Stony Brook team discusses how they utilized OmniUpdate's directory module in conjunction with OU Campus to create a dynamic, engaging, and award-winning website that creatively showcases the 40 Under Forty honorees.
