Exploring OUTC17: Peer Presentations

Our speakers are booked. The topics are set. We are ready to take over San Diego at the 2017 OmniUpdate User Training Conference (OUTC17) in just a few short weeks!

Our Keynote Speaker

We're thrilled to announce our keynote speaker: Mark Greenfield from the University at Buffalo. Mark has been helping colleges and universities improve their websites and digital properties for 20 years. His domain knowledge of higher education combined with his web expertise and experience helps campuses focus on meeting goals while also providing an optimum user experience. He brings a unique perspective to higher education web and digital, taking a holistic approach that helps campuses understand and integrate all aspects of the web. Mark's presentation, entitled Why the Web Matters—A Call to Action for Higher Ed to Get Digital Right, will uncover how to harness the full potential of digital. Your website matters, and it should be your most strategic asset. Let Mark tell you why!

Our Presenters

In addition to our awesome keynote, we have amazing presenters who are eager to share their wisdom with you. Here's what some of them have to say about their presentations at OUTC17:

JonathanJonathan Anspaugh | Understanding the Power of Hidden and Sequential Metrics in Your Enrollment Funnel

“I am excited to share details and foster discussion on the power of hidden or underutilized KPIs. In the world that we live, data is king and should truly be a driving force and decision maker in every action, initiative, or endeavor we take.”

AngelaAngela Cavaliere | Design for Your Users, Not Yourself

“Who are you designing your website for? I'm sure most of us can agree that we are here for the same reason: the students! User testing gives you the opportunity to interact with both students and faculty. You learn about how they use your website, what they hate about it, and what they really like about it.”

JesseJesse Clark | Using Tags and Data Files to Pull In Content

“The thing I'm most excited about sharing is how I have used the product to solve a challenge that our university was having. The best part of OU Campus is how the system can be adapted in ways outside of the traditional roles you think of when you hear content management system.”

RobinRobin Kelly | Confessions of a Web Professional: 20 Tips, Tools, and Hacks for Getting the Job Done

“I am once again overjoyed to present at the OmniUpdate User Training Conference. I'll demonstrate some of my best tips, tricks, and tools for time management, organization, and working with users in OU Campus, including how I've tweaked my work habits over the years for the better.”
